I have a friend who leaves restaurant tips in the form of little origami creatures. I’m thinking of taking up the practice, called orikane, myself.

Here’s how to make a flapping origami crane, a symbol of peace, with a dollar bill.

    Hi. I really like this video, but it moves a little too fast for me. Is there a way you could show it step by step with clear pictures and make it easier to tell which side is which? Thank you.

    Hi, Ross – It’s not my own video, just one I linked to from YouTube, but maybe if you visit the video’s page on YouTube and leave a comment, the creator might see it. I found it bit fast, too — sure used the pause button a lot while I was following along! :)
